Chandigarh University provides its students with the best placement facility. A number of well-known companies visit the campus to recruit the students with their best possible salary packages which includes, Dell, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc. The highest salary package for MBA was INR 14 LPA last year and more than 745 students got offer letters from companies in the field of MBA.
Approximately 175 students got more than one offer letter. Moreover, the university also provides placement training to its students which is called TPP (Training and Placement programme) by which they can be prepared for the interviews in advance.
The university provides you with the best infrastructure including well-equipped labs with updated machinery, each block has its own library and there is a central library, a sports complex, and a number of eating or hangout places are there where you can enjoy with your friends. Hostels facilities are also provided to the students, which have AC and non AC rooms according to your preference.
The admission to the university is merit-based. However, the university has its own entrance examination named CUCET. Students can also get scholarships if they score well in the entrance exam. The percentage of the scholarship depends upon the score which you get in the exam.
The lectures are prepared accordingly so that more weightage will be given to practical subjects. The curriculum is planned properly according to the requirements of the real corporate world and also updated every year. The faculty is very kind and interactive. They focus on practical knowledge more rather than just giving a theoretical one.
There are many quotas for students to get scholarships. Students can also give the CUCET entrance exam to get scholarship.
There is a separate department named DSW (Department of Student welfare) in which students can take part and become a coordinator for the facilitation of the other students. Moreover, there are different clubs in which student can take part and contribute to society.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to the MBA program is granted based on the candidate's score in CAT/MAT/GMAT exam. Candidates who do not possess a valid score in any of the Management exams must appear for the CUCET exam conducted by Chandigarh University. A student who has scored 50% or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) or student appearing for secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board) are eligible to take admission in CU.Candidates must graduate in any discipline with 50% of marks in aggregate from a recognized institution of the university.
