Intake Through: University Entrance Exam
Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any two of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) in the aggregate.
Fees and Scholarships
To help deserving students with their finances, CU offers many scholarships to them. Students can earn merit-based scholarships based on their JEE (Mains) performance. Students who receive a JEE (Mains) rank up to 25000 can earn a 100% semester fee scholarship.
Additionally, students with a JEE (Mains) rank between 25, 001 to 50, 000 can avail of the benefits of a 75% semester fee scholarship. Candidates gain scholarships based on their 12th standard scores and CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT percentiles.
Other scholarships offered by this institute are Scholarship for Family Members of Chandigarh University Staff, Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Defence Personnel, and Chandigarh University CUCET scholarship.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For my course, you should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in all primary subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Math's and English in +2 and there can be two ways to get admission to Chandigarh University. The first is via an entrance exam, and the second is direct admission. Since I am an international student, I didn't have to give any entrance exam, but domestic students can take either CUSAT or CUCET.
