Chandigarh University is NAAC A+ accredited university. It always provides numerous placement opportunities to their students. 79% of students get placement from the college. Every year, students are getting placed in top class companies like Cipla, Mankind, Root Analysis, GSK, Apollo Pharmacy, etc, with attractive salaries. The average salary package offered to the students who are getting placed is 3.3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA.

The campus is quite well with almost every facility. Wi-Fi campus, Wi-Fi works in every department of the university. The library for each department is different so as there is no rush or time wastage for students. There is also a central library. Canteens are with good food. The college has a very big campus of 100 acres with all the facilities. It has big classrooms with modern teaching equipment, campus has all types of labs uses in the course. Hostel facilities are provided by the college. Both girls and boys hostel is available with all the facilities like 24*7 power supply, gym, night canteen, etc. Sports facilities are also provided. PGs are also available there. 

Biotechnology is a branch of science that binds cellular and bio-molecular processes to develop advanced technologies and products that subsequently improve the health of humans and the planet. Eligibility is a Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST category) in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Medicine (MBBS)/ Medical Lab Technology/ Nursing. University timings are from 9.30 am to 4.20 pm including a 1hr. lunchtime. Each class timings: 50mins, each lab timings: 150mins. The faculty members are qualified and are always helpful to the students, most of the teachers are PHDs qualified and they are quite knowledgeable in their respective areas. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready and something new always adds every year. Teachers are hard-working as well as very helpful in every case. Whether we talk about studies or other guidance. They are polite. There work is great. They teach with presentations and full notes are always given to us or uploaded in CUIMS (LMS Platform).

The fee is inclusive of examination fee.

Chandigarh University along with Punjab National Bank and other Nationalized banks offers need-based finance to students applying for an education loan at the university. Many clubs are there like Femto Chem Club, Udaan, Enviro Club, Tech Path Finder, etc. Events are there. Both cultural and tech fests are there in every semester. About 2 fests take place each semester. They are cultural as well as tech fest or other fests. Extracurricular activities for each department go side by side.
