Chandigarh University offers very good placement for their students. 79% students get placement from the college. The highest package offered is 8 lacs and 2 Lacs is the minimum package. Average placement of the college is 3.5 Lacs. Abbott, Glaxo Smith Kline, Johnson and Johnson are the prominent companies that come on campus.

The campus is quite well with almost every facility. The Wi-Fi campus is there. Wi-Fi works in every department of the university. The library for each department is different so as there is no rush or time wastage for students. For flexibility and quality in learning, there are various well-equipped labs like genetic engineering lab, immunology lab, microbiology lab, pilot-scale fermentation lab, genomics and proteomics lab, environmental biotechnology lab and computational biology lab. Canteens are with good food.

Chandigarh University creates a positive learning atmosphere with high-quality infrastructure, labs, and faculty members. The eligibility criteria: Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST category) in any branch of Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics.

The college has very big campus of 100 acres with all the facilities. It has large classrooms with modern teaching equipment, campus has all types of labs uses in the course. Class timings: 9.30 am-4.20 pm and after that Students can easily access the central library. Teachers are very hard-working as well as very very helpful in every case. Whether we talk about studies or any other guidance. They are polite. They teach with presentations and full notes are always given to us or uploaded in CUIMS.

Loans are also available. Chandigarh University along with Punjab National Bank and other Nationalized banks offers need-based finance to the students.

Cultural: From music, dance, theatre to literature, and fine arts, Chandigarh University encourages its students to actively engage in countless cultural events. Events are there. Both cultural and tech fests are there in every semester. About 2 fests take place each semester. They are cultural as well as tech fest or other fests. Extracurricular activities for each department go side by side.
