- VJEC is situated at a silent, cool valley in Kannur, Kerala.
- Our College houses four college-attached hostels (2 each for men & women, separately) which provide quality services and facilities for the student.
Academics and Faculty
- Vimal Jyothi Engineering College, chemperi is one among the top 10 colleges in the north-Malabar region of Kerala.
- Our college has good facilities which help in the academical performance of students.
- The faculty are trained, experienced and knowledgeable.
Fees and Scholarships
- Scholarship options:
- Annual tuition fee at VJEC: Rs.75,000
- Scholarship provided by management for academically good and financially poor students; 2% of students
- The scholarship provided by the govt. of India for minority community; 35-40% of students
- Bank loan(Rs 3,00,000-6,00,000) is available for all students who secured admission through govt. quota with zero interest rate.
Clubs and Associations
- Cultural and Arts club also functions under the college guidance at VJEC.
- The campus also includes grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, softball, kho-kho and also has indoor & outdoor courts for badminton and basketball.
- The college management does not exhibit discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.
- Infact, management takes strict actions against student or faculty if any discriminating actions are made.
- Since our college focuses more on academics and well-being of the pupil, student parties are not encouraged on the campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Eligibility criteria for VJEC were to have passed 12th standard and have Kerala entrance exam qualified. We were supposed to have a minimum of 60% in the 12th standard board exams.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are to be passed in +2 science and general admission procedure for Btech and Mtech courses are handled by Kerala entrance commissioner. Candidates are needed to qualify Kerala entrance examination for BTECH and preferably GATE for MTech. The typical cutoffs for college vary year by year based on subject selection trends and overall industry situations.
