Placements and Internships
- BITS has Microsoft ,eBay, intuit, jp Morgan etc.. coming for recruiting interns and placement scenario is also not bad either taking into consideration that we here lag behind academically compared to DCU, DTU, Top 5 nits.
- Average salary will be around 7-8 LPA.
- Since our college is a newbie we don't have a big alumni base but we do some of our seniors doing M.S and PhD's from top schools in U.S like Stanford, Caltech etc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Bits Goa surely stands among the top schools in terms of infrastructure but we do not have a wifi in the whole campus
- Food options outside the campus are limited especially if you are veggie.
- Transporation in Goa is one of the worst in India and you have to empty your pocket if you want to travel even 10kms comfortably.
Academics and Faculty
- We unlike the other elite colleges in India do not follow mid sem and final exams schedule here and this is what irritates me the most because when we are done with one set of exams the other set of exams will be waiting around the corner and statistically there wouldn't be gap more than 1 month between the exams and in between we need to organise our festivals and that becomes hectic for an average student most of the time.
- Quality of teaching is good in some courses at BITS and frankly, it is not that great in electronics-related courses and hopefully, it would change in the future.
Fees and Scholarships
- College fee at BITS will be around 12 lakh INR for a four-year undergrad course.
- Merit cum need and merit-based scholarships are awarded to around 20% of the students and the criteria for the merit cum need scholarship is that parents combined annual income should be less than 6,50,000 INR per year.
- Bank loans can be availed easily without any security with a margin of around 10%.
Clubs and Associations
- Clubs are pretty good and Sports infrastructure is not that great and especially what frustrates a BITSGian and a cricket fanatic is that we cannot play in our own cricket ground since it is maintained by the BCCI.
- Student diversity is, in fact, great earlier one ethnic group used to dominate the campus but slowly the situation is changing and sex ratio is around 1:7.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine isn't very hectic. Attendance is 0% and hence totally depends on the student as to how much time he'd want to devote in classes. Teachers are good and supportive, and research environment is pretty great. Overall experience is brilliant.

Academics & Faculty : Projects is the only part which worries me the most at BITS. The citations of the professors are also very low. Courses available outside of your curriculum are also very good.
