Interested students can apply by filling out an online application form on the website of “idol.in” or they can purchase it from the university head office or from the university regional admission office. Chandigarh University also believes in taking voluntary initiative towards the social cause by a myriad of activities that enforce community building and social responsibility. Activities like sanitation, hygiene, environment protection, and basic education program are volunteered by the students. Chandigarh University was the first private university amongst its contemporaries to be accredited A+ by NAAC. CU has been recognized by Association of Indian Universities and other discipline-specific council boards of India such as; Bar Council of India Pharmacy Council of India Council of Architecture Computer Society of India, etc Chandigarh University has recorded its name in the Limca Book of World Records for the highest number of companies arriving for placement opportunities, in 2018. The hostel is quite good but the infrastructure is normal we can say we will have to manage. The mess is good and food quality is too good, hear we have proper food at proper timing. We have a common library in the hostel we may study late at night, and our warden is quite good and cooperative.

Chandigarh University is a full-fledged university established by the Punjab State Legislature and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. Approx 60 thousand students are part of Chandigarh University, there are so many workshops, and different students are belonging from different cultures but there is no any kind of violence. Student ragging is not allowed on university campus if any kind of activity is found then there is strictly action followed by our vice-chancellor. In the first semester, we had visited a pharmaceutical industry in Badhi (Himachal). College Events There are so many cultural activities and technical activities organized by our university, as students can be mentally and physically can be active. There is a large enough campus in which they have so many open ground, and have a nice auditorium where the big program is organized by the department.
