We have a lot of industrial training and expert talks. Our batch is yet to sit for placements, however, our seniors are happily placed with core companies of ECE.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
I don't know exactly, but a lot of hostels are there and new ones are also under construction. Food is very cheap and major food joints are on campus, so we don't have to go outside. Infrastructure is great quality, all classrooms are digital and wi-fi connectivity is excellent throughout the campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I took JEE exams, wasn't able to score very high marks to get into IITs or NITs. CU was my preferred choice due to the reviews I had from some of my relatives. I do not regret my choice, seeing everything here.
Academics and Faculty
When it comes to the branch of Electronics and Communication, the first thing you should look for is the availability of labs and prominent hardware equipment required for carrying out practical work in order to gain technical and practical knowledge. Besides this, faculty quality is very crucial to the success of any program.
You cannot survive in ECE without these things and Chandigarh University has well-established labs and infrastructure for students which makes them highly competent so that they can get themselves placed in core companies. The majority of the faculty in the ECE department is a doctorate and well researched with lots of publications and projects and patents to their credit. We share an excellent rapport with our teachers.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Chandigarh University is one of the youngest and leading private universities, which offers numerous courses, ranging from basic to advance. The eligibility criterion for this undergraduate course, BE Chemical Engineering, is to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in secondary education from a recognized national/state board of education. Further, a student has to appear in the national entrance examination for engineering, also known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
