Hostels are very good but the fees are a little high such as 1.7L per year. There are many PGs and flats available outside the college campus which would cost max 3k per month. Food in the hostel is included with the fees. Classrooms and hostel rooms are very good and have wifi facility available almost throughout the campus
Nowadays everyone gives Jee mains and other than that there was a scholarship exam, but now students have to give University's common entrance test which should be qualified to get into any course mainly Engineering. Cutoffs change as per overall results of students and for class 12 results it is mandatory to get 50% or above in physics chemistry maths.
Class timings are from 9:30 to 4:30 and as per daily routine may be early. Teaching is done as per rules and syllabus and the faculties are very friendly. College life experience till now is very good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission is a minimum of 50% marks in the boards. The admission procedure is to file up the documents required and then pay some advance fee and attend the classes on schedule date. There is no entrance exam in my course. Minimum 50% is the cut-off.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is CUCET for the admission, There are different eligibility criteria for different courses. CUCET and CLAT. No idea of CUT-off.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : As I'm a diploma student I basically don't require any kind of entrance exam, because diploma students are never required to give any entrance exam, they are automatically eligible for their further degrees in 2nd-year batch. So for diploma students, the cut for this course in Chandigarh university is 60℅.
