I did my internship when I was in diploma. But after joining this university I haven't done any internships, because it's my first year in this university. But our university has been linked with different organizations that provide placement in IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing, sales. So students don't need to panic that their choice of placement is available or not in this university. Alumni network in the linkage of the university with the different foreign universities to expand knowledge and share as much as possible. And I can surely say that Chandigarh university has a strong linkage with other universities to expand knowledge and to provide the latest studies to the students to get them prepared for their future.
There are three different hostels in this university having 4 blocks each. So that more than half of the students of this university can easily get accommodated here. As I don't stay in a hostel so I don't know the hostel fees. But there are PG's too outside the campus. Which cost more than ₹2600/- per person. There are different shops on campus. So it depends on them to set a cost but the food quality is good. The quality of classrooms, labs, dining halls, Wi-Fi, and other key infrastructure is very good in this university. Once you join it you will love it.
As I'm a diploma student I basically don't require any kind of entrance exam, because diploma students are never required to give any entrance exam, they are automatically eligible for their further degrees in 2nd-year batch. So for diploma students, the cut for this course in Chandigarh university is 60℅.
Lectures are daily from Monday to Friday. The class timings are from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. During this period different assignments and projects are assigned to students whose marks are calculated in final results. Also, the midterm exams are scheduled after the completion of every Unit. The quality of teaching is very good and the university provides the best staff. Also, E-learning methods are being used which helps the students to learn faster. My overall experience at this university is very good. I like this university.
Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The course fee is about ₹163000/-. I don't know very well about the scholarship, because I never tried for it, but students whose annual income is less than 1 lakh and who falls below the poverty line get the scholarship and also others too get but scholarship but I don't know about it. Also, more than 50℅ students get a scholarship. A student can apply for a loan if he/she is not compatible to pay his/her fees. The university provides all supportive help and guides the student to get a loan. You can apply in any bank which provides an education loan. It depends on you.
There are different student societies, clubs, and associations in this university so to enhance your skills in different fields such as photography, program handler, and others. The main festivals on campus are Tech event, Punjab Youth fest, Inter Hostel sports events, and others. Life in college is awesome.
