Mba701 P's Review on Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh

Over 400 companies visited the campus last year including some big companies like Delloite, Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and many more. Companies came for recruitment for roles like finance, marketing, sales, IT and there is an excellent placement record of Chandigarh University where a good number of students have been placed in good companies so far. There are companies visiting for on-campus drives for internships as well which provide a stipend, internship certificate, and even pre-placement offers to the outstanding students. The Alumni Network of Chandigarh university is quite maintained, all the details, their placements, other important details of alumni of the university are constantly updated based on their current position. 

There are so many hostels for boys and girls- Sukhna A and B, Shivalik, Shivalik Extension, Tagore Hostel for girls and LC, NC Towers for boys, the fee for a hostel is quite reasonable that is 86,000/- per year(including the meals) for Shivalik and there may be some variations on the basis of some extra facilities in some hostels. 

There are other options as well- you may go for a PG outside the campus but there aren't many pg's near the campus, you may have to travel 15-20 minutes daily but there are some PG's close to the campus as well. The food in the hostel mess is good. Other than that, students have access to 24/7 free internet service 24/7 in the hostel. The labs are well equipped and there is a central library in the main campus and individual small libraries in almost every block. 

At the time of my admission, students were enrolled on the basis of graduation percentage and CAT percentile as well but from this year onwards enrollment will be on the basis of CUCAT. The minimum percentage for my course - MBA in Business Analytics demanded a minimum of 60% in graduation in any stream. 

If you are enrolling for an MBA, then you should be ready for the hard work and long college hours of course. You'll be getting assignments, projects on a regular basis and there will be 2 MSTs and one final exam for each subject per semester. The teachers are very supportive and knowledgable and are ready to help the students anytime. The campus and infrastructure are good, teachers are great, the curriculum is well balanced and the way of teaching is really effective.  

The fee structure is different for all the courses. CU offers MBA in Business Analytics, SHRM, Banking and Finance as specialization and the general MBA course as well.

The fee structure at Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh is 80,000- 1,20,000 per semester from MBA to MBA-SHRM, whereas for Business Analytics, it's 95,000/- per semester.

There are various scholarship opportunities also that are available to students based on different criteria and all details and the eligibility criteria are being conveyed to the students. Students can take education loans from banks which are easily available and the semester fee for all the semesters get transferred to the college on a timely basis and the repayment of the loan can be done once you get a job. So. if you want to polish your skills, you need not worry about the money much.  

Students can have themselves enrolled in various clubs as well along with working on their academics. The clubs available are Calligraphy Society, Poetry Society, Anchoring Society, Music, Dance Clubs, Writing Society, Urdu Society and many more. There are numerous events held on the campus from tech events, departmental and inter-departmental competitions, events to star  nights.
