Placements and Internships
- There are various reputed companies that visited campus for internships i.e. PNB Met Life, Investosure Ltd, etc. Many of the roles given by these companies are Sales and Marketing, Analysts, Tax Advisor, etc.
- The average salary given in my course ranges between 3-4 lacs and the highest package is 9 lacs and near about 80% of the batch gets campus placements.
- Chandigarh University has a strong Alumni network, it has more strength in alumni and also various records made by its students.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 9 hostels in Chandigarh university and it provides all possible facilities in the hostel itself students do not need to go beyond the campus. There is a different fee structure for hostels as per the room as it offers 2,3,4 and 5 sitter rooms and basically starting hostel fee is Rs.86000.
- There are various PGs outside the campus that have alternates for the students and the cost somewhere seems to be less from hostels.
- The food quality is not like our homes but it is eatable as compared to other hostel's food.
- Chandigarh University has the best infrastructure with respect to its classrooms, labs, libraries, etc.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Students who got more than 60% in their previous qualifications are eligible to take admission into this university. Chandigarh University's criteria are simple which means it doesn't create any confusion in students' minds at the time of admission.
- I did my graduation from Chandigarh University and I was not given entrance examination at that time as I was qualified in graduation by fulfilling its criteria.
- There are no proper cutoffs for the courses till now, admission can be taken in this university on the basis of first come first serve.
Academics and Faculty
- There is proper surveillance of the activities and formal routine is followed by the staff. There are also strict rules and regulations for attendance and maintaining 75% attendance is compulsory for the students along with there is also some relaxation for the medical leaves or any other valid emergency issues. There are timely projects and assignments given by the department.
- The quality and method for lecture delivery is quite good as the study is done mainly on a practical basis. There are various labs in the departments which help students to make their practical aspects strong along with theoretical aspects.
- My experience in the university is best as I get cooperative and supportive faculties every time.
Fees and Scholarships

- There is near about 15% of students from the course get scholarships.
- Yes because of the huge amount is needed in a short span of time, that's why a loan is needed because there is also a hostel expense along with academics. There is various banks options for getting a loan, say SBI, Axis, etc.
Clubs and Associations
- Chandigarh University has a separate department for clubs and societies i.e DSW which takes care of various events, clubs, etc.
- There is a various festival celebrated in the campus in which the main is cultural and also Youth festival celebrated every year.
- Life in this college is good and you can explore various things in this campus and also there are various snack points various entertainment zone etc are there which makes student's life more enthusiastic.
