Interior Design is an upcoming field with tremendous scope to work professionally as Furniture Designer, Retail Designer, Interior Designer and Visual Merchandiser. Excellent placement opportunities are offered with architectural & Design Firms, Builders & Developers and Real Estate. The placements were good as we got placed in the good companies with handsome packages. 30% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 and the lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. Companies like Orient Craft, Shahi Export, Upperclass and some other export houses came to our college. The roles offered were a designer, assistant designers, merchandisers, stylists, and photographers. 90% of the students got the internship from college only. Infrastructure : The whole infrastructure was very good with adequately working air-conditioners, Wi-Fi classrooms, smart library with n number of books to research on, good medical facilities in emergency and to tackle acute injuries. The quality of labs was good as they were very well-maintained, and the canteen provides good and fresh food, that used to be checked out routinely. The hostel rooms had air-conditioners, and good laundry services and no electricity cut off.Hostel buildings are well ventilated and nice. Building and infrastructure of LPU is nice. In hostels you get your personal bathroom. All the faculties are highly educated and experienced also.They always come to the class at proper time.Every faculty tries to give their best by teaching properly they never do time pass in the clss.The university is also having marshalls to keep checking the faculty members whether they are teaching or not.

Bachelor of Design in Interior Design is a 4-year undergraduate course, designed for students who have successfully completed the Higher Secondary level of education (10+2). Interior Designing Eligibility Criteria Candidates are eligible to apply for a course in interior designing if they have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board. However, most colleges have additional eligibility criteria which states that students must have studied Mathematics and Physics as a full-time course or as an additional subject in their Class 12 to apply for admissions in an interior designing course. Admission to the course is generally provided based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, and the subsequent round of counseling. you want to do bachelor of architecture with interior design as subject you can undertake NATA test. however if you want to study bachelor of interior design course than there are no central entrance tests. you have to apply to individual institute directly for their own entrance exams. NATA, CEED, NID, CPET, etc. Candidates should have qualified Class 12th/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum aggregate of 50% marks and above from a recognized university or board.

Class timing is 9am to 5 pm . Examinations are conducted twice in a year, Odd and Even Semester End Term Exams. Faculty : The faculty are cooperative and helpful. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable enough to teach us the best of the design as course. The smart board and projectors were used to teach us. We were provided with equipped laboratories for understanding the concepts practically and put them into the real world. The course curriculum was useful as we could relate it to the outside world and the current pattern of working.

Total fee of my course as per the 4 years course is 7.54 lakh. All students who are eligible for the scholarships (for programmes after 10+2 only) are given admission on Fast Track. That means they do not have to appear for the admission selection process and their admission is done based on their application form. Direct Admission is not applicable for Post Graduate programs. Scholarship will be offered after joining the program on verification of original documents. Candidates will get100% Scholarship only if He/She Eligible with - 93% aggregate State Boards of Class XII- 2020/2019/2018. Candidates will get 50% Scholarship only if He/She Eligible with 88% aggregate State Boards of Class XII- 2020/2019/2018. The University have many clubs for students to enhance their skills like Parikalp, Amity coding club etc.The AUMP consists of all the necessary facilities like air conditioned rooms, projector facilities in classrooms,etc. AUMP is a no ragging campus.
