Yes, Internships are an important part of the curriculum however we have compulsory dissertations that are to be submitted in the fourth semester and MOOC courses are also very important. The students of literature have a variety of scope as they can go for content writing, teaching, research, and many others.

University has a strong alumni network.

Chandigarh University has a huge campus and greenery. The blocks are divided according to the courses and each block is equipped with all essential facilities like a library, computer lab, student care center, tug shops, and food joints. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. 

Masters in Literature is a dynamic course. The admission in this course requires

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
• English as a subject in a bachelor's.

The admission will be on merit basis and the number of seats available. There is no entrance exam for this course.

Chandigarh University never compromises with quality and policies. The timing of each lecture is 50 mins, no mobile phones are allowed during the lectures, the student has to reach on the campus by 9.15 preferably as the lecture starts at 9.30 and no student is entertained to enter the lecture hall after that.

Teachers are the best part of the university they are very helpful and cooperating, you can reach out to them any time and they are ready to help. All are experienced and impart quality education to the students. The simple classroom teaching is not done, it's more discussion-based teaching where students are made to speak and discuss their points of view.

I have enjoyed every day at Chandigarh University and have learned a lot throughout the span of 2 years. I believe I have learned values and principles also.

There are many scholarship programs for the students like- CUCET, Merit-based scholarship program, and every year university announces new programs so that the students can get good scholarships.

University has provisions to assist students for the loan.

Every branch has its own club and many academic & cultural activities. The students from all the departments can participate in the competitions. Our department has:

• Psycho-Analytica Club

Many expert talks and field visits made our study interesting.
