College provides internship with stipend to students with well known companies. The placement cell of NMIT ensures that you get placed in top notch companies. For this they keep pace with the industrial requirements and trains you according to it. Average salary figures [3-5 lakhs per year], highest salary figures [25-27 lakhs per year] and 90%+students of batch gets placed.

There are 6 hostels (4 for boys and 2 for girls) for the students staying apart from their families. Hostels are well equiped with drinking water coolers, washrooms, Wi-Fi. College is well equipped with Mess for students staying in hostels, canteen, food corners, refreshing points. Classrooms are well lighted with comfortable furnitures and are nicely ventilated. 

Admission for all Indian students is as per the norms of the Government of Karnataka (GoK). NMIT admits students through Entrance tests such as CET, COMED-K, PGCET, GATE, KMAT and others. Students are also admitted under Management quota.

General fee structure for students joining through COMED-K is around 2.35 lakh per annum and for students joining through CET is around 85,000/- per annum. Scholarship is Govt. based so students from Karnataka have benift to it.

NMIT is also well equipped with sports and clubs (Music, Dance, Art, Literature, Photography, Adventure and many more) providing you extracurricular activities, I was part of the Art club (Studio 371). You get to learn a lot being in these clubs.
