There are canteens and good cafe which provide good quality food at a reasonable cost. Moreover, the food provided in the hostel mess is quite healthy and good and it's fee is included in the hostel fee.

To be a good designer I have choose this Course. Course is designed in such a way that all the core subjects are taught as practical. The curriculum is based on the requirements of the design industry regular industrial visits to factories and design studios are organised by the department. We are taught the fundamentals of design, Basics of fine arts, Some subjects are related to photography also. more Emphasis is given on learning digital tools like digital sketching and rendering. 3D software along with the surfacing software are also in our curriculum. We also have industrial trainings and projects. Only the thing to be improved now is 3-d printing studio.

Environment: In my experience I found the campus of Chandigarh University full of life and quite vibrant. I always loved different activities apart from the study. I had heard about the Chandigarh university to be most lively campus. So, I joined Chandigarh University on this pretext to be the part of such a vibrant university. Apart from the excellent academic system the university organises various cultural, sports and other extracurricular events all the year round. Moreover, students from all parts of the country and from different parts of the world add much colour to the campus and I love to be part of it.
