Placements and Internships
At UG level merit-based scholarships are there (max. 10% of total intake capacity)
- 50% scholarship for students with => 90% marks
- 20% scholarship for students with marks in between 85-90%
- 10% scholarship for students with 80-85% marks
100% placements with the highest package of INR 32 lakh per annum (approx.) and the average package between INR 2.5 - 3.5 lakh per annum.
Students are being placed in top national and international companies like Amazon, Dell, Deloitte, Google, Reliance, Flipkart and various other pharmaceutical companies.
Dedicated alumni cell is there.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
there are sufficient hostels for both boys and girls inside the campus. Hostel fee is around Rs 95000/- per year including meal.
PGs are also available outside the university and their cost is approximately Rs 8000/-month.
Food quality is very good and the average cost varies as per the food your order
Spacious Lecture halls are available. Separate auditorium and library is there in every department.
All the labs are well equipped and well maintained. The campus is very cleaned and attractive.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admission in B.Sc. chemistry at Chandigarh University is based on the performance of your plus two results.
There is a scholarship program for UG students (on the basis of plus two grades or CUCET exam merit) which is very beneficial for students.
One should have at least 50% marks in the senior secondary exam for admission to BSc Chemistry program.
Academics and Faculty
Classes start at 9.30 am in the morning and last up to 4.20 pm in the evening.
Teaching quality is very good and the method of teaching is Interactive or participative one where students are encouraged for raising queries,

Entrance Exams & Admissions : With more than 22000+ students enrolling every year, admission for all programs are done through CUCET scores and counseling conducted by the university. Certain programs accept different scorecards for admission. In the case of the B.Tech/B.Arch program, admission is done on the basis of JEE Main Paper I/JEE Main Paper II or NATA score, respectively.
