Chandigarh University has excellent placements.
CU holds Limca Book of the world record for most companies visit for offering campus placements.
The average package lies between 4 lakh to 20 lakh per annum which may vary branch to branch.
The highest placements from CU was of 31.75 lakh.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of the college is very good and well organized.
The campus is situated in between fields surrounding it making it a quiet and calm place to study.
Every academic block consist of highly advanced labs which ensures us a better practical session along with theory.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Chandigarh University has a common Entrance cum scholarship exam named as CUCET.
By this exam, you can get a full 100% scholarship over the semester exam fees.
There is basically no cutoff, for this exam, one can get a scholarship just by scoring more than 50% in CUCET exam.
Academics and Faculty
daily classes start from 9:30 sharp. After that, no one is allowed to enter the academic blocks.
Classes ending time varies day to day according to the time table.
Teachers are very good, Highly educated and friendly. Most of them are Ph.D. graduates. They are very supportive. They are ready to help anytime to anyone.
Fees and Scholarships
Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. Fees of Chandigarh University is: The semester fee is 35k and if you have appeared for CUCET and scored well, then your sem fees will set according to that only.
The examination fee is 2k and if you stay in a hostel, then for a sitter room, fee is 85k per year and for 5 sitter the hostel fee is 75k.
Most of the students who have applied in CUCET get a scholarship of about 50 -80% off on the sem fees.(but only when you score well).
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs in CU like Sports club, hacking club, music and dance club and others too.
One can join any club. The timinh of the clubs are after 4:30 when all classes are finished.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is no mandatory exam for admission. I got admission by booking my seat for the course. The eligibility criteria for admission is that the student should score a minimum of 60% in their 12th class.
