If we talk about placements in the past few years it has been 100% with the highest package of INR 31.77 lakh per annum and the average package between INR 3-4 lakh per annum.
Students have been placed in the top national and international companies like Amazon, Apollo, Dell, Deloitte, Google, NIIT, Reliance, Flipkart, Excel, and various other firms.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are lots of hostels in the college campus. Hostels for both boys and girls that have all amenities. Hostels have facilities like canteen, playground, common rooms, balconies, ATM, gym, medical facilities, wifi, 24*7 power supply, saloon, mess with 4-time meal of good quality and hygiene.
Lecture halls are spacious. There is an auditorium and library in every department. All the labs are well equipped and well maintained. The campus is very cleaned and attractive.
I had a great time in college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc chemistry at Chandigarh University is based on the performance of your B. Sc degree from any recognized national or international universities or institutions.
There is a scholarship program for PG students which is very beneficial, you can get scholarship as per your grades.
Academics and Faculty
Our class starts from 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm including lectures, practicals and an hour lunch break. There are two internal exams and one final exam.
For the final score, 60% of the final exam and 40% of internals marks are considered. There are 3 assignments and 3 tutorial sheets and 2 surprise tests in every semester for each subject.
Practical labs are well equipped and every student gets the chance to perform under the guidance of faculties and lab assistants. Students can participate in the research work under faculty guidance.
Fees and Scholarships
Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.25 Lakh.
It is a PG level program and the duration of the course is 2 years. 100% scholarship for the eligible students. Scholarship is merit based.
- 50% scholarship for students with 90% marks
- 30% scholarship for students with marks in between 80-89%
- 20% scholarship for students with 75-79% marks
- 10% scholarship for students with 70% marks.
Yes, you can apply for a loan at your nearest bank. Every bank has its own criteria for the loan. Along with punjab national bank, other nationalized banks are available for the loan services in the university.

There are various societies and clubs in each department, they provide various opportunities and platforms to enhance students talent. Various extracurricular activities are conducted at both departmental level and University level.
Every national festival is celebrated with great interest.
