As far as placements are concerned, the college provides a good number of placements to students of various courses. Speaking of the mass communication department, then regional news channels and event management companies select students for campus placements. Rest in other departments companies like TATA, WIPRO, ADOBE, AMAZON and other big institutions hire students from my university.
Well, for getting admission in BA journalism and mass communication there is no such entrance exam. You get admission directly based on your class 12th percent. But one should keep in mind that in order to enroll yourself in this particular course, the aspirant must have at least have above 75% marks in class 12th board exams.
I must say that the curriculum set up is very nice. It takes care of all the aspects from theoretical to practical knowledge. Classes are held in two shifts. One shift starts at 9 am and ends at 1 pm. The second shift starts at 1pm and ends at 5pm. This timing makes it very easy and convenient for students to come from far away places and attend classes regularly. Also, this schedule helps us to do part time jobs and internships.
The fee structure is fine here. Considering the opportunities the University provides, the fee is quite reasonable. If you are good in academics then the University provides scholarships. Hence, the scholarship amount gets deducted from your fee amount.
