Placements and Internships

4

I did 1 internship in my final year in a manufacturing company in mangalore itself. there was no stipend that was paid. Key companies such as Northern Trust, Amazon, Grant Thornton,KPMG, Ernest and Young, HSBC, Google etc. for the roles of HR, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Marketing etc. Highest salary figures is upto 3.3 lakhs and approximately 70% of students get placed. Alumni meets are held every year and cultural programs are conducted.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are separate hostels for Men and Women as well as separate hostels for UG and PG students so i can say that there are altogether 4 hostels on campus. Mainly they are reserved for economically and socially weaker sections of students. The fees may go up to Rs.5,000 per month, including food and maintenance.

There are only a few PGs that are available in outside localities, and the cost of PGs may range between Rs.4000 to Rs.7000 per month. The food available in the college canteen is not that great but there are many places around the college campus where you get really good food. College food may cost you around Rs.600 per month, but if you have a food coupon then it might cost you a little less.

The quality of classrooms is good as there are lot facilties available. Labs are quite okay, there is no dining hall available in the college, Wifi is available but as it is used by many students it is very slow to work with.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Anyone who had completed 10+2 is eligible to apply for Bachelor's degree and the admission for the course is given on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination. No entrance examination has to be taken. 50% marks have to be scored by the applicants in order to be eligible for the course.

Academics and Faculty

5

Very good college with great lecturers, the syllabus is completed on time, and the notes are also provided so that it is easy to study for the exam too. The class timings are also convenient so that the students coming from far away places also can reach on time. There is one project that the students must do in the final year. Assignments are given frequently so that it becomes easy for the students to study for the exams.

The quality of teaching is really good because the lecturers are well educated and clear the doubts of the students if any. The method of teaching is excellent and understandable. The overall experience in college was amazing as the campus is very big and there are also many tourist places, there are also many associations that are held on every thursday such music association, NSS, NCC, Konkani association etc. Lot of inter collegeate fests are also held so that we get lot of opportunities to explore.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

There are more than 50 scholarship options available. Scholarship for female students, scholarship for minority students, sports scholarship, merit based scholarship, beedi scholarship etc. Most of the people in the college get scholarships. Loans are not needed since the fees can also be paid in installments.

Clubs and Associations

5

There are many associations that are conducted every friday in the college such as konkani association, music association, NSS, NCC etc. All the festivals are celebrated on campus. especially there will be many inter-collegeate fests like ACME, spinout, astitva etc.
