I interned with Goldman Sachs after my second semester for a period of two months as a Complaince intern for 30,000 stipend per month.
Key companies that hire are Amazon, Google, Deliotte, Aditya Birla etc. The sectors for which students are hired are asset management, automobile, banking, financial services, etc.
The average of highest package offered is 9 LPA and the average package being 4 LPA. With 97.2 % placement record for 2016-18 batch of students.
Alumni network consist of very supportive and available people who are ready to help one another. They have a separate alumni online community, where the current employed alumni share job opurtunitues in the company they are employed, industry trends and news, etc.
College infrastructure is one of the main attractions. It has well equipped air conditioned class rooms, labs and a library. The dining hall is huge with a wide variety of vegetarian food options available, costing on average Rs. 100. Since the college moved to a new campus in the academic year 2018, i do not know any other details.
Eligibility criteria for the course was under graduation from any recognised universities with a minimum 50% overall score and no back logs. The admission procedure was to apply through their online website, after which the college admission faculty would contact and guide you for furthur formalities if selected after the initial application through their website.
Entrance exams accepted were CAT, GMAT with a 70% score. OR you took up the Jain Entrance Exam (JEE) which was very similar to GMAT.
The cut off was 60% marks in under graduation.
The timings of the college is 9 a.m to 4 p.m. With Semester exams, and intermediate internal exams with a minimum percentile of 50% for passing. 2 projects for every subject, which is a part of internal assesment. Internal assesments carry a 50% weightage of the marks for the whole semester.
Quality of teaching is good as they employ faculty with practical industry experience in whatever subject they teach. The method of teaching is through practical examples and case studies.
Overall experience is good.
CMS Business School, Bangalore Fee Structure. Fees of SGT University is INR 4 lakh per year.
There are no scholarship options advertised, one needs to contact the college administration for the same. Edu Loans are provided by the Jain University management wing for a nominal interest. The neccasity for loans depends on the Individual.
There are book clubs, mangement clubs conisiting of various departements like HR, Marketing, Finance,etc.
There are annual inter and intra collegiate fests conducted by the students. And the students actively participate in other inter collegiate fests too. Life in college was very supportive and kind as the faculty are very understanding and supportive. Neccasary adequate facilties are provided to the students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria in CMS BUSINESS SCHOOL is 50% in graduation. Jain University conducts their own entrance exam which is JET, and I have given JET and I got selected for MBA programme after giving the entrance test and the interview. Based on my performance in entrance test and in interview they have selected me.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility criteria for admissions in CMS Business School is to pass the JET (Jain Entrance Test) which is an independent exam conducted by the Jain University. This becomes mandatory if you have not passed any National Management Entrance test such as MAT, CAT, etc. JET has three parts, first stage the written test, second the group discussion, and third the personal interview. I had cleared the MAT exam hence it was not mandatory for me to go through JET.

Along with the entrance exam, candidates need to attend a group discussion round followed by the personal interview. I took the MAT exam and cleared the group discussion and the personal interview rounds conducted by the business schools.
