Placements and Internships

1

No facilities are provided for placements in this course. Institute does says it is on its flagship course but lacks the will and commitment to drive it.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

1

No hostel facility is provided to executive students. Mess at the institute is average. Food is reasonable in cost but low in quality. Poor quality classroom, administration and even want to make money if you touch even an already broken thing. Unmanaged infrastructure which requires various modifications and replacements.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

This is a course for Executives with experience of at least 3 yrs after Enginnering or 5 yrs after Commerce/Arts background. GD & PI is taken up once scrutiny is done on the basis of your application form. No cut-off. Just answer the straight questions in the application letter.

Academics and Faculty

1

Classes start at 9.15 am till 6.30pm. Various assignments and quiz competitions are conducted regularly. Routine is hecti and institute does injustice and discrimination in providing lunch, tea, hygiene etc. Management of course is very very poor, which you don't expect from such a highly renowned & reputed institution. Administration at Institute is pathetic, annoying and Institute is the one which needs to be taught management rather than the teaching students.

Fees and Scholarships

1

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, [IIFT] Delhi Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 5.2 Lakh.

Clubs and Associations

1

There are societies at college but due to rigorousness of course, hardly one gets to be a part of society.

Fees & Scholarships : IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade), Delhi take special care to facilitate the meritorious students with scholarships. Banks tied up with IIFT offer educational loans to the students at a moderate rate of interest.  The Institute provides Need Based Scholarship Scheme under which it pays interest subsidy for a certain time on Educational Loan from a bank taken by the student whose family income is less than Rs.2.50 lakh per year. Depending on the fee and other expenses the amount of educational loan is revised every year.

Academics & Faculty : Academics at IIFT is pretty rigorous with the courses cut out perfectly to provide the necessary domain knowledge. Courses are relevant. Number of electives being offered is not high because of a strength of 160-odd people ion the Delhi Campus. Accessability of professors outside classes is also decent. Some faculty members need to come out of their comfort zone and migrate to modern/unorthodox teaching methodologies.

Academics & Faculty : Most subjects are all relevant and the methods adopted to teach them are good as well, but still there are certain areas which can be incorporated into the syllabus.
