The placement team is highly active and motivated and the college follows what is known as Standard Professional Training Procedure where in the students are prepared for Personality Development, Body language, Positive attitude building, Communication skills which helps a lot in placement intervies, the college generally achieves 100% placement with major recruiters being Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Wipro Technologies & Wipro Infotech Satyam Computers, Avaya, KPIT, Cummins Zensar Technologies, Syntel and many more.

The hostels are good kind of average i would say, all the basic facilities such as Canteen & Mess, Water coolers, Recreation Room, Indoor games, Gymnasium, Medical room are available within the hostel.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Oriental Institute of Science & Technology in its various departments.All the departments have highly experienced faculty who are helpful inside and outside the class, one can approach a faculty with a doubt at any time and his doubt would be solved.

The fee is less compared to other private colleges around the country, my total fee for the entire course is 2.2 lakh plus 2 lakhs extra for housing, food and other personal expenses.One thing that college should focus on is availability of scholarships, there are hardly any scholarship available for the students

The only student club which is not entirely run by students is NCC. College should encourage students to work upon something other than studies so that overall development can take place.
