Placements and Internships
Amazon is the biggest salary package company. It offers about INR 12 L per annum. Alumini network is quite great here. Other companies that visit are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro etc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels - for boys one and girls one. Food is vegeterian. There are lots of PG's outside college also. Infrastructure is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria for KCT is qualification of class 12. The government quota seats will be alloted through Anna University counseling and the remaining management seats will be filled by a small interview at the college.The cut off for government quota seats will be usually above 94 percent.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings is from 8:30 -4:30. There will be two internals and a main sem exam. Lots of assignments will be given. Overall experience inside the college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
For government quota, the course fee is INR 80000 per year. For first graduation it is even less. For management it is about INR 1L to 1.4L per year. There is just one scholarship available. About 10 students in each branch from every batch is selected based on academics.
Clubs and Associations
There are a lot of clubs and activities. We can join according to our wish. Many technical events are also held. One main fest is held once in a year. College life will be good here.
