Himanshu Toppo's Review on St. Xaviers College Ranchi

Talking about the internships, truly the dept. of BBA offers companies to join students as interns during the holidays. Right from the first year companies visit and selects students from the dept. as interns for a minimum of 45 days. Companies like Bajaj Finance, Sony Electronics, SBI, and many more electronic and IT companies do visit here.

The colleges campus is quite spacious. The college premise is divided into three groups, The UG campus, The PG/BEd. campus and the Intermediate campus. College has its own College Gym, a cathedral, 3 canteens, an auditorium, 2 open stage and a sports ground. Washrooms are present in all floors of the building both for boys and girls. Even there's a common room for girls. Apart from this, boys hostels are also inside the campus so that students dont find difficult to push off themselves for classes. The college also offers facility of libraries and Labs for students. For students who are physically disabled, facility of an elevator is provided. 

There is no such cutoff marks here for getting admissions in St. Xavier's College Ranchi in BBA. You just have to score a minimum of 55% in 12th irrespective of the board. There are two stages in the admission process. First you have to clear your written entrance test and if selected you gotta face the Personal interview.

Academically, the atmosphere of the campus is quite good. Teachers here in the class are even very cooperative and experienced. Apart from the courses they even guide us about our future opportunities. There are even teachers who are very strict and they just keep pulling students for their irrelevant behaviours. The Dept. of BBA never tolerate students who don't keep themselves properly groomed. Dept. of BBA doesn't tolerate long hair, beards, visible tattoos or any informal behaviour.

classes are executed in two batches. Morning batch- 9:00am to 12:30pm.

Evening batch- 1:20pm to 4:30pm.

The annual course fee here ranges from INR 50k- 60k per anum. Moreover, provisions of scholarships are also provided. Even scholarships are offered to Backward classes people, like half of their fees gets the refund back by the end of every year.

There are differents clubs in the college. Students are awarded credits if they work for their clubs. So basically there are clubs like Rotaract Club, Event Management club, AICUF, NCC, etc. There are mainly 2 festivals of this college. 1 day cultural celebration on Karam, and College fest of 3 days. These are the time for students when students participate into different events and enjoy these days to their fullest. All sports are entertained here. Even inter departmental tornaments are also conducted.
