Placements and Internships
*Internships I had done internship in software. *In my college most of the student get hired by IT service company like Infosys, TCS, wipro etc * here avg. salary is about 3-3.5 lacs per year which is common in IT company Highest salary is 8lac in year 2019 About 60 to 70 % getting placed here
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
*there are three hostels, two for the boy and one for the girl. Hostels are good. Hostel fee is about Rs. 2700 * PGs and other courses is quite a bit low in academics in comparison to SIT BBSR. And their cost is low * Food is good to eat but not as home food. Cost of the meal is about Rs 100 per day it varies according to breakfast lunch and dinner. *Quality of classroom is average, lab very well equipped, library enough books to study and well organised tables, dinning Halls is good, NO wi- fi service for hostel and classroom present only in particular area and about the infrastructure is organised well
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria that you have already passed 12th with science background in PCM and admission process is through jee main Or ojee. I took admission through jee main. In my year cutoffs rank are -: For outside state 1. Comp. Science engg.- (100k) 2. Electronics and communication engg.- (250k) 3. Electrical and eletronics engg. -(300k) 4. Applied electronics and instruments engg. - (400k) For home state 1. Comp. Science engg.- (200k) 2. Electronics and communication engg.- (350k) 3. Electrical and eletronics engg. -(500k) 4. Applied electronics and instruments engg. - (600k)
Academics and Faculty
*class timing is from 8 am to 3 pm approx 7 hours including practical and theory class. Two class test is taken per semester and one end semester exam. * about quality of education is average and teaching method is good. *overall I would say that college only focus on the academics instead for engaging students in extra work( like project, arts, games,)
Fees and Scholarships
Silicon Institute of Technology, [SIT] Bhubaneswar course fee per year is Rs. 135000 * scholarship is given to the student ( student belongs to Orissa) which have good rank according to branch only that is TFW and Scholarship for the student getting good academic in b.tech (only for the 1st and 2nd position holder in respective branch) in the end of year. *avg. number of students who get scholarship is about 8 student per batch *Is loan needed because fee is quite high. Yes it is easy to take loan from bank
Clubs and Associations
* student societies is very helpful, club is also here but present in very little amount clubs are not interested in tech fields. * the main festival is tech fest called as zygon. * boring life only study to get good marks

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Silicon Institute of Technology BBSR is the best option for students of not only Odisha but also for Jharkhand and Bihar. The college is ranked 5 in career 360. Every student of engineering nowadays is worried that we will get any job or not, there are many rumors about engineering, but this college not only gives you the best faculty and also 100 percent placement. The eligible criteria is to attend OJEE or All India JEE Main and attend OJEE councelling also mandatory. This college has very good infrastructure and facilities like hostels, gardens, playgrounds, labs, workshops, clubs, etc. The closing and approx cutoff for the 2020 year for odisha state students was 3lak, and outside students cutoff was 1 lak (case branch). Overall, this college is the best in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The total fees is 4,6000, which is very affordable and about the mess it is good about, and students like it.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for Silicon Institute of Technology differs from branch to branch, but it basically depends on the rank of the applicant in JEE Mains. Usually, Computer Science branch has higher cut-offs then EEE, ECE, AEI. For CS the branch cut off goes around 1,50,000 to 2,75,000. Rest for all other branches any rank within 4,50,000 will do.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Being one of best colleges of Odisha, SIT takes students based on your JEE rank. You have to apply OJEE 2018 college selection. CSE being the top branch you have to get a rank of 1 lakh 50 thousand to get it. But there are other branches such as ETC, EEE, AEI. There are very good facilities in our college which makes your foundation strong.
