In the 3rd year, the 6th semester you will be asked to join as an intern in any company of your choice and submit a report to the college once every month. After the final year companies like Amazon, Sun T.V, Zoho, etc come to hire the graduates. The salaries can range from 1 lakh to 35,000 according to the job and company in which you are hired.

The infrastructure of the campus is amazing. It is a huge campus with lots of buildings for various departments. But the block for faculty of science and humanities is really old. there are about 5-6 huge and well maintained separate hostels for boys and girls. The Java area inside the campus has many small and hygienic restaurants. The hostels inside the campus are a bit too expensive and the food is alright

For joining Visual Communication in SRM IST, you first need to apply for the admissions as soon as the seats for the course is open and submit your 12th marks. If you are selected you will get a  counseling call letter to come and join the course, ask queries about the fees, etc. After this, you will be called for orientation. The typical cutoff for the course is 60%.

Visual Communication students can join in college clubs like the photography club, dance club, music club, fashion club, etc. The teachers dont encourage one to join these clubs. If you have an interest you need to gather info and join the clubs on our own without much guidance.
