After the end of every year the students are given two months long vacations where they can pursue internships inn social media, digital media, print media, journalism etc (as directed by the department). The internship after finishing second year is mandatory, whereas the first one is optional.

• In-campus, there are two hostels. One for boys and the other for girls. Both of the hostels do not have mess facilities. The college is surrounded by a number of PGs to stay in. Ranging from cheap ones to the most expensive ones.

• The college canteen food is decent in terms of quality and price. There are a lot of canteens and you will never stay away from food, wherever you be on the campus. The classrooms are huge and spacious. It can accommodate around 100 students in each classroom.

• The campus is equipped with 2 libraries, both having a number of books and study space with computers for student use. The campus has a high-speed internet facility which is only limited to educational websites.

Students from all streams (Arts, Commerce and Science) are eligible to apply for this course. The online application form usually comes out during end of December and are open till end of january. After filling the online application, the students need to send their Class 10, Class 11 and some other documents mentioned in the website by post to the university. The entrance examinations take place in three schedules. Two of them occur during the end of April and the last one is held in the second week of May.

The entrance examination has 3 phases.

• First, there is an MCQ paper of 50 questions consisting of General Knowledge, English(Comprehension and grammar) and logical reasoning which does have negative marking (+1 for correct and -0.25 for incorrect).

• Second, students are given to write articles on two given topics in about 50-100 words.

• Last, there is a personal interview which is very subjective. What questions are going to be asked cannot be predetermined.

• The college starts at 9 am and ends at 4 pm. There are a total of 6 classes everyday. The academic curriculum is divided into 3 parts as CIAs.

  CIA 1- assignments as directed by the subject teacher.

  CIA 2- Mid-Semester examination

  CIA 3- End-Semester Examination

• The college campus is nice and happening. There are a lot of events happening almost everyday. Even after class ends, we can see students on campus involved in various co-curricular activities.

There are a lot of clubs, official bodies and independant teams to join. Students can join the Student Council, Student Welfare Organisation(SWO), Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS) and various other theatres, choir and dance teams which participate in on-campus and out campus events. Being a university, it has a lot of departments that organizes a lot of fests on a regular basis. The campus never runs out of fests or events.
