Darshan Datchu's Review on Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development

The Placement offered is in the field of marketing ,finance ,operations,Human resource and analytics with the average package  of 7L and highest being 9L .The major recruiters are Ujjivan,Infosys,schneider,TCS,MedLife,odessa and some microfinace institutions.We have a alumni network association called PRERANA which plays a major role in the MOCK INTERVIEWS conducted for  the student by alumnis of the college.

There are two hostel one each for Girls and boys.The hostel feel is around 56k per annum which is included in overall course fee of 12L(as its is residential college).The food is at its best when it comes to mess.Students get around 2.6k mess-bill per month.There is a high speed wifi-network and a separate dinning hall and a library with large collection of books.

The eligibility criteria was a entrance test like MAT ,CAT  to be taken before i was allowed  to take  essay writing and  followed by personal interview  that was face to face based on option mentioned in the college application that as to be filled after you take up a entrance test.The students who can apply can be from the domain such as engineering,B.com,BBA,Medical ,Science background etc..

The class timing is basically from 9AM to 5:45 PM and there will be atleast one presentation and projects from each course offered. The quality of teaching offered is high and it is basically through class room teaching ,case-study methods, roleplays.

The course fee is 5.6 lakh per annum.The scholarship is offered for the students who have 70% in 10th,2nd pu and UG and scholarship is around 75k which will be deducted from the final installment.On an average the count may be 75 who gets scholarship.Loans are needed for most of the students as the full time course fee is around 12L and you get educational loans from many finance institutions like Karnataka ,cooperation bank etc..

There are around 12 communities in the college like ADCOM, SPORTS, MESS, CULTURALS.The flagship events in the college are ABHIGYAN(ug fest) and NAISSANCE(pg fest). The life in SDMIMD is generally hectic with vast learning and joy.
