Soumi Bhattacharyya's Review on AIMS Institutes

The college allows for the internship in any semester as per the candidate's choice. During my third semester, I have taken up an internship in Karnataka Soaps and Detergent Limited. No stipend was offered but the experience was amazing. The key companies that hire for placements from our campus are Accenture, Wipro, Airtel, IBM, and ORACLE. The roles were mostly of Business analyst and Marketing.

There are 2 hostels of our college. No idea about the hostel fee structure as I have never been in the college hostel. PGs are also available near our college hostel with reasonable price. The food provided in the college canteen is good and hygienic. The price is also reasonable. Rest the classrooms are spacious, clean and tech equipped. There are three computer labs for students namely IBM Lab, Apple Lab, and Windows Lab. The library has a good collection of books in it. WiFi is also available for all students with a good speed. Overall the college is well structured.

Eligibility criteria for admission in this college is 12th pass with first class and above marks. There is no such entrance exam for getting into this college. Only the student willing to join this college must have a minimum of 60% and above in both 10 and +2. A face to face interview of the candidate is conducted at the time of admission process.

Class timing starts from 8:30 to 2:30 with 2 breaks in between. Projects and assignments are given to asses the individuals based on which they will be allotted their internal marks. The quality of teaching is standard. Faculty uses presentation and practical examples to teach the students. The teachers are also very understanding and helpful at the same time. Hence, the overall experience is amazing in this college.

The course fee is revised as per the policies levied by the college. But the structural presentation of the course fee is given on a one-time basis and henceforth no changes after the course commences. Scholarships are available for the deserved ones. The college has a tie-up with private banks for educational loans.

Our college has a Management Club named 'ASTROBS' and a Rotaract Club ( Students Club of Rotary). Many cultural fest and management are organized by our college. One of our main cultural and management fest is 'UMANG' which is an intercollegiate National level fest. Overall we have a vibrant and happy time at this college.
