Its got both girls and boys hostels and have decent facilities inside

nearby you can also find a lot of PG options with low prices

average food cost is average, a meal can cost you around 100 to 200 rupees

quality of classes and labs are very good

To get admission in Dr.Mgr University student should have minimum 50% in both 10th and 12th doesn't require any entrance exams as it is a Deemed University. It is a fun place with a lot of activities fest going on all around the year. placements aren't super good, but decent placement support is available.

class starts around 9 AM and end by 5 PM, will get 3 projects in 4 years and assignments will be ongoing and it will be part of the module.

methods of teaching are very conventional and old school methods.

Per Anum they charge INR 1,20,000 Lakhs and no scholarships are in progress however bank loans are helpful. The quality of education is not as good as promised, the quality of teaching is average, it has a lot of scope of improvement.

MGR University has a good number of clubs, Literary seminary club being the most active club and have most events running throughout the year.

every department runs has own festivals every sem and it's totally fun yet informative.
