There are 2 blocks. Both are big but the hostel facility is not soo good. Hostel fee and food fee included in 4 lakhs. There is no other option like PGs. Food is good but they always give rice. Quality of classroom labs is good. No Wifi

For applying for DNS(Diploma in nautical science) course you have to clear 10+2 with maths and physics aggregate 60% and English 50% in 12 and in 10th also. Indian Maritime university takes entrance examination i.e. IMU CET for this course twice in a year. April and in December. Most important thing besides these all that you have sponsorship. IMU release cutoff list according to your marks in the entrance exam.

Daily routine starts from morning PT then breakfast after that morning muster then 09:00 to 11:00 1st class, 11:00 to 13:00 2nd class then lunch and afternoon muster 14:00 to 16:00 3rd class after that parade than at 19:00 hrs dinner and after that self-study and sleep Quality of teaching is great and the teachers are very helpful. My overall experience is great.

Course fees depend upon the college. In government colleges like IMU KOLKATA, CHENNAI, MUMBAI ETC having fee 3 lakhs (approx). SAMS take 4 Lakhs. No scholarship is available. Yes u can get ur loan from banks

College life is great and it teaches you how to live and survive. In college, we celebrate Durga Puja, Onam, cultural programme, teachers days etc.
