Logu Easwaramoorthy's Review on PSG College of Arts and Science, [PSGCAS] Coimbatore

No internships offered by PSG College of arts and science till date. Companies like TVS, kgisl, Wipro etc hire highly scored students from PSG. The salary depends on the courses and the candidates quality. The management is approachable in all aspects and charges less fee comparing to other colleges of similar level.

The hostel accomodates around 5 people per room. They charge 1lakh per year for the stay, laundry as well as food which comes to 8500 per month. Classroom quality is good..it's 24/7 power backed-up...there is a good library inside the campus.. it has the stone bench to relax. WIFI is not provided. It has good lab facilities

The eligibility for the course is the 12th class with good marks. The cutoff is above 600 out of 800 to get in. There are no entrance exams. Can approach for admission by filling in the forms physically or through online.

There are three batches (8am-1pm … 9am-3pm…1pm-6pm) The timing for the commerce students would be 8 am to 1 pm Assignments are provided 2 times per subject each semester. It's an autonomous University so the question paper is prepared by college and exams are conducted by themselves. The overall experience is average as they lack in showing the outer world and taking IV's (Tours)

Per year I pay around 70,000 rupees. Students from backward classes, with a disability, sports person get the complete waiver of the fee. Half the students in PSGCAS get the scholarship (termed as aided quota) As it's a well-known college the financial institutions recognize it easily so availing loans wouldn't be a tough job.

There is number of clubs and societies present in which you can develop your inner talents...programs and festivals are conducted regularly. The college life gives some book knowledge but not the good experience.
