Sheshang Rai's Review on AIMS Institutes

i had an opportunity to witness and volunteer in the session happening for the placement of the seniors and as per my opinion, i think it was well connected but could do a bit more, i was there only for a day and din't really participate the only thing i noticed is amount of companies which was fairly good, that had come in and probable placement options for the students.

there is 3 hostels in total, one for internation ICCR students, 1 is aims sai boys hostel and the girls hostel. fee varies along with the room occupancy opted for. hostel doesnt have and provide recreational facilities. it recently only started providing with the hostel wifi. there are areas of improvement when it comes to hostel recreational facilities, apart from that the hostel is fine. the mess food can definately be better and the quality of food can be better. lacks in infrastructure.

college starts form 8-30 . 2 classes then a 20 min breather , then 2 more class then the lunch break for an hour and three more classes until the day ends. 2 assignment every month, 2 internal exam and 1 pre final - and the board exams.college faculty plays a vital role and hence the faculty here gives us enough freedom to try out new ideas , a free space and comfort to share ideas. They are always open for a knowledgeable discussion and tend to ensure that the doubts are cleared before moving on (at least my department does for sure). FRIENDLY, OPEN, EASY TO APPROACH, BALANCED.the campus life is bit weird since sometimes it feels more like a school and less like a college. Since there is a lot of stigma due to the exposure of bollywood movies and etc but its the exact opposite. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY ANY SPORTS BEFORE THE LUNCH BREAK EVEN IF WE HAVE ANY FREE CLASS OR NOT EVEN WITH OUR OWN MATERIAL. but then again when it comes to academics the college provides enough support and equipment to practise it too. 

i would say fee structure is a bit expensive maybe its just for the international students but nevertheless it is abit expensive with the facilities apart from academics the college provides ( basketball court, football field, volleyball court). the fee structure is expensive with the infrastucture it provides. i am aware the college does provide the scholarship if applicable but only if you opt for it. there may also be loan offered but have absolutely no clue about it. With the hostel fee included it comes about 80000-100000 depending on the room opted in hostel

there are clubs such as rotary clubs, and every department has its own club as well.

college life is fun only within the class but outside its a bit boring with the lack of facilities.
