Pawan Shandillya's Review on Doon Business School, [DBS] Dehradun

I) No, although I got internships in two companies this year i.e. Pepbill and Internking. Both comapnies were providing me        a handsome stipend. But I didnt Join them.

I) There are six hostells- three for boys and three for girls with facilities of Wifi, purified water, mess, 24hrs electricity. Rooms are 3 sharing and double sharings. Fee for 3 sharings is approx. 79000 per year and for double sharings it is approx. 1,00000 per year. Rooms are cozy with balcony and attached washrooms are available.

II) yes, you may get Pg also over there. You may get PG in just approx. 75000/- for double sharing. 

III) You may get healthy and tasty food from college canteen and it will cost approx. 60/- per day for one time.

IV) All classes are in form of smart classes where you may get Peojector, mic., fully Aircondi. There is one lab for B.Sc. agriculture. DBS itself has own field where no. of valuable plants you may find. There are two big liabraries containing no. of books. There are two mess in campus of the college one for boys and one for girls. Doon business school has good infrastructure and developing day by day.

I)Admission Criteria:

*Graduation with min. 55%

*Student who have cleared any entrance exam i.e. CAT/MAT/XAT

*English Proficiency test and GDPI

II) GD/PI and English proefficiency test.

III)55% is the min. cutoff for every courses.

I)

*Usually Class timing is 08:45 to approx. 4:30 depends upon the classes.

* You will be getting daily assignments, projects, live projects from which you can learn a lot of things.

* There will be three exams for each semester i.e. Internal- mid term and end term and External which will be conducted     by the university.

II) All faculty members will be teaching by PPTs, Videos and other modes of study. Doon business school has no. of good      faculties which helps students in learning process.

III) Till now I have experieced that Doon business school is a really a good college of North India. In a moderate fee, it is providing better modes of study, scholorships, a average infrastructure and good environment of study for the students.

I) For MBA, I need to pay there RS. 365000/-

II)There are many options available for students there.

*Students who are from SC/ST/OBC.

*Students who are from Manipur, Tripura.

* Students who have got more than 90% percentile in entrance exam.

*Students who are from miniority.

III)Per year 70-80 students gets benefits of scholorships.

IV) yes, for those students who are not able to pay this much amount, they may get loan easily by fullfilling few criterias.from my point of view college will not provide any bank from where you may get loan. But yes you can get it from yourself.

I) There are no. of clubs run by Students and faculties i.e. Debate club, Marketing club, Finance club and there are many committies who works for student's benifits i.e. Discipline commitee, CDC commitee.

II) DBS has sports day, Manfest, Utsav, and many culturals programs like Dahi handi, Ramleela, Dandiya night etc.

III) You may find no. of students playing games, in library, in gyms. So, I have experienced a good life in DBS.
