Tz Rewang Wangdu's Review on Lovely Professional University- LPU Jalandhar

* currently I am taking an internship in getmyuni with 5000 per month stipend.

*connection between the alumni in society is hugely powerful and beneficial to society with the combination of different key skills and power to create new things happen with the unique effort from the different side.

Gathering of different experience and knowledge from the alumni will really create a huge difference and changes with good attitude and purpose of the particular network.

* Thre are different categories in the hostel like 

                     AC/ 2 seater                    cooler/ 2 seater

                           3 seater                               3 seater

                           4 seater                                4 seater

and fees for all category are different. As I am taking cooler 4 seaters, it's of 46500 rs/ per year.

      I personally didn't like the hostel as compared to the value I had paid and the room furnishing and equipment are not up to my expectation.

* There are lots of good PGs available near our university and it's cheaper than the cost inside the university like 6000-7000 per month for the 4-5 student.

* There a lot of food stall inside university owned by private and having varieties of food.mostly for a meal its cost around 50 - 70 rupees.

* yes, I can say the facilities are far better in lpu then most of college and universities in India.

   in every class is having an AC facility, and projector, most of the department is having its own library on the ground floor and have a resourceful central library.

* I am doing BBA(Hons) bachelor of business administration and for this particular course, the student should have above 70% in class 12 board exam to get the admission without entrance exam and have a 20000 rs benefit per semester in 3 years from the university itself.

* one call take admission in BBA( Hons) if the person is having above 60% and have to clear the entrance exam but one who is having more then 70% do not have to take the entrance entrance

* Daily timetable is bit conjusted and have a more regular class as compared to other colleges under Delhi University and Bangalore University.

mostly the class start from 9 am and ends at 5 pm but the schedule is not fixed for all semester, it changes from each semester to semester.

for the project, exam and assignment its also differ from subjet to subject and mostly we dont have the seperate exam, project or assignment but they will take almost like 3 to 4 CA and that CA might be a test, research, drama show, presentation etc.

* The teaching technique is fully depend on the professor or teacher for particular subjest and till now most of my teacher use the powerpoint presentation, research, group discussion, and many others as well.

* Till now everything is quite well accept the natural calamities, almost arround 4-6 month its too hot like 36-45 degree and its too cold from october to almost like the end of february.

* In a year my course is having two semesters and for per semester I am paying 38500 rs/ and in a year I am paying the total of  INR 77000 Per annum

*LPU is providing a good scholarship to the student having a good marks and that's scholarship amount differ from year to year.  personally, I am getting an INR 20000 in a year with having a class 12 board marks more the 70%.

*Personally I am not taking loans for my fees expenses but students can take a loan from SBI and there are many more banks who is having a good policy for student fees loan.

* If student is capable in taking different activities,the university is providing a immense opportunities to develop the student from different aspect.

* There are different festivals in a year but the most interesting one until now is one world where different group of student from different nationalities has to represent their culture and the top three countries will get a prize at the end of festival, The particular festival consist dance show, food, different festivals in particular country are the preparation should be done within 10 days.

*, In general, the college life in lpu is quite busy and don't have much free time in the daily routine then Saturday and Sunday, unlike those other universities in Delhi and Banglore or other part of the country, we are having more class in a day.
