Sravani Dhara Nandi's Review on JNTUA - Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur

Placements are not good in this college for core engineering students. Only IT companies will come to hire the students. It was good for CSC and ECE  students.100% placements are guaranteed for these two branches. The package is around INR 2.2 lac per annum. 

There are 2 hostels for girls and 3 hostels for boys. The hostel fee will be INR 2500 to INR 3000 per month including food. Food will be good. Class rooms will be good and many laboratories are under construction. Library is very good, we can find many books not only academics apart from that general books are also available.

JNTU Anantapur is a government university. We should attempt EAMCET entrance examination to study in this college, It is a famous university known for its reputation.The  main drawback of this college is communication skills, apart from that technically it is good. Cut off to do course in this college is different every year. The minimum cutoff to get civil engineering course is 15000 and we can get admission from sports and NCC qouta also.

Classes will start from a 9 'o' clock in the morning and it ends at 3o clock. The faculty is average in this college. Only a few professors will take classes. It is average in academics view.

College fee was around INR 13000 and hostel fee is different. Scholarships are available for the students, for merits and for backward class students. Loans are not needed.

There are no particular clubs and student associations in the campus. The college maintains a good discipline and college is 100%  ragging free. Technical fests are very famous in this college. Sports and cultural fest are conducted sportively without any issues. College life is very good apart from communication skills and academics.
