Percy Thokchom's Review on Annamalai University, [AU] Cuddalore

I was an agriculture student so no intern and stipend from college as I came from other states.

There are more than three campuses for girls only and same goes for boys. The international hostel is also there inside the campus, hostel fee cost INR 45000, there is pg and rent available outside hostels. Canteen food is good. All neat with classroom libraries etc.

During my time of admission, it's was a direct admission with no entrance thereafter, the system changed, the entrance examination is compulsion, most preferred state students, others state students are hard to get admission now. Again the system change to counselling those who completed 12 board exams can apply for this college. The cutoffs are too High as many good students come for admission.

Due to excess students in my batch, the class divided to morning and afternoon shift I always get afternoon shift which is tiresome but things changes again we early morning class too. The professional teaches us in English so no problem in that. Over-all everything was good.

No loans are needed, but it depends on others too. The college fee during my time was INR 24.5k, I hardly remember.

I don't have much idea about students society but there is grievance redressal office in the campus. Pongal is the main festival. And sports is a most enjoyable time in college. Life was perfect.
