Placements cell give only fives preference to B.tech and MBA students and the major companies that come here are Airtel, Wipro and major banks. Rests organizations are just some BPOs like eClerx or Concentrix.
There are 2 to 3 hostels for each gender and few inside campuses and few in the city. Fees are various for different types of rooms but the quality of the rooms and food is not so great. PG or flats would be a better option. Food is average in taste and price in the canteen but in some shops are there in the campus who served good food.
Well, there is no entrance exam or any kind of cutoff but there is a scholarship exam that you can give.
In a week you may get 1 or 2 days where you will have a relaxing day with 3 lectures but rest of the weekly lectures may go till 4 pm:00 or 5 PM( starting from 9 AM with a 1-hour break in between). Teachers are Cooperative and some have poor teaching methods but still, they help students except the mathematics department.
My course fee started from INR 16000 and went up to INR 26000 per semester. One can get up to 50% scholarship and I don't think a loan would be required.
There are different clubs like theatre, art, literature, engineering and so on. In last 5 years, they have had only 1 fest but sports meets happens every year. Life, in general, is quite average nothing much is happening.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Direct admissions for DAV students. Other have to pass the screening test. Eligibility required is 12+ with science and above 60% in 12th. Cutoff changes every year.
