Prasanth Kumar Ts's Review on PSG College of Technology, [PSGCT] Coimbatore

Yes, I got internship General Electric for 2 months with the stipend of INR 17,000/pm. Companies such as BOSCH, Hero Motocorp, Alstom, Faurecia, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, and Mahindra, etc. come to our college. The average salary is around INR 5 Lpa. Highest salary is INR 9 Lpa. More than 95% of the batch got an offer. College has very huge and active alumni network.

There is one huge hostel to accomodate 5000+ students. Hostel fee ranges from INR 2.5K to 4K depending on the rooms you choose. There are few PGs available. The cost would be INR 4K to 7K. We could get a very healthy and tasty food in mess. Per meal, it would cost Rs.40. 

To get admitted to this college there are two ways. One is you should get very high cut off (PCM) in board exams. Other is management seat, should pay around INR 20-25 Lakhs to get the seat. The typical cutoffs for this course is 199.0+. 

Daily routine would be 4 theory classes and 3 lab session. Projects are much important. Sometimes you would get small project itself as an assignment. The quality and method of teaching are extremely appreciable. 

INR 40,000/- is my course fee. Yeah, there are many scholarships available to students. The average number of students get the scholarship is around 10. Taking loans is up to your background, but it can be availed easily in SBI.

There are around 15 clubs available in addition to the association of each department. They provide plenty of opportunities to develop inter and intra personal skills. Apart from good academics, they provide the equal contribution to sports and cultural by organizing around 5-8 cultural per year and sports day. Life at PSGCT is awesome.
