The seniors are extremely kind and helpful, opposed to what some people think of it. The selection rate varies from course to course. There's a very good connection with alumni who help you through a lot.
Overall, it's all great. Hostel life's gonna be the best time of your life. There are lots of PG's right outside the campus. And amazing food options both outside and inside the campus.
Eligibility criteria were to be a science student. Amity is one of the very few colleges who offer BTech biotech to non-math background students. Being a PCB student and always having hated math, I didn't find it challenging here as the teachers start with basics and are great at their job.
Overall it's amazing. Class timings are convenient. The teachers are amazing at what they do. Quality of education is extremely amazing.
Fees for BTech Biotech is somewhere around 3 lac per annum. If you get more than 80% in board, you're directly selected. If you get 90-95%, you get a scholarship for 50% and more than 95%.
In general, life's amazing here. You have everything you need and want. Courts, societies, clubs, it's all amazing.

Academics & Faculty : The daily classes commence from 9:15 am to 5:15 pm, with each of the classes having a duration of 55 minutes and varying from the courses, the lunch break is provided, and also there is a half-day, once a week (mostly on Thursdays). The method and quality of teaching vary from the faculty assigned to the students, these two play a big factor in the quality of the education. The overall experience of the college on a personal level is like a roller coaster ride on a philosophical level and on a professional level, it is a great opportunity to create a network and use the university's facilities for self-improvement.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Anyone having a percentage in 12th above 75% (PCB) can apply for the course. However, those with 92% (PCB) or more are awarded scholarships. You have to apply for the AmityJEE, and choose PCB. The chances of admission are higher during initial periods, because once the seats get filled up, the admissions are closed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student must pass the 12th grade with the good percentage and JEE Main is the entrance exam to get the admission in this college.
