I had myself done internship at Mahindra and Mahindra. Atlas Copco hires interns and employees at our college. We have Atlas Copco lab. Other companies like Haier, Amazon, Bosch, Accenture, and many others are part of our placement drives. The average salary is about INR 3.5-4 lakhs p.a. About 70-80% get placed at Campus drives. Alumni are at good companies and they do are in touch with the college and few have major start-ups like Tork motors.
There is huge no of hostels. There is separate girls hostel with better security. Hostel fees are around INR 1.5 lakhs per year and around INR 12k a month with mess charges included. There are a lot of PGS and private hostels around college. They cost like INR 12-20 k for an apartment for a month. Food in colleges mess is average. Quality of infrastructure is good with all amenities and facilities.
As it goes students are admitted through CAP rounds. It's actually not that hard to get here. Average grades in 12th and good JEE score at least positive could help you get admitted. I had 91 in JEE Main score and 83% Boards. I got selected in my first round. So cutoffs are 70% above in boards and 50 above in JEE.
Classes start at 9 am and end at 5 pm. Assignments are semester wise. Projects are done in final semester and the third year has got Seminar. Teaching faculty is good and most are Pune University members for subjects. They are experienced and are also authors of local textbooks. The experience is good average mostly.
For Open category, it's around INR 1 lakh per year and for Reserved it's 50k or lower. There many government scholarship schemes that can be availed. Around 300-350 students receive the scholarship. Loans are required and there are many banks in Campus like Central Bank of India, Bank of Baroda.
There are many clubs and associations. All are active and pretty happening. There are Art clubs. The Anvita Kalamandal is famous in Pune. The Sinhgad fest Karandak is popular in whole Pune and Maharashtra. Well, known bands and artists like Jay Sean, Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars have been part of these tests.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure is very good. Hostels are available for girls and boys separately. The quality of the classrooms is also good. wifi is also available.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission through CAP rounds directly to the second year because I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering. There is no separate entrance examination for admission. Percentage obtained in your last year diploma course are considered. There are two shifts for mechanical engineering. For 1st shift cut off for open is around 86% and for obc, it is 85% for sc st, It is around 75% and for 2 shift +/- 2 in above figures.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must clear the MHT CET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 120 cutoff mark is required.
