Placements and Internships

4.5

The best thing about this college is that it has a wonderful society called The Placement Cell. This society calls different organizations and corporations and conducts proper tests and interviews. I was also a part of it. Every CA aspirant has to do an article of about 3 years and the society calls the big fours to the college for hiring students. This is really very helpful.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3

The college has its own hostel. But the no of seats available is very less. Seats are given to students on merit and distance basis. The hostel fees are INR 6000 per month. Just opposite of our college is a market and a residential area. There PGs of all kind is available. But the environment of that market is not healthy at all. The college's infrastructure is quite nice.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

I took admission in the year 2016. That time the first cut off was 97% and I had an aggregate of 98.5%. Earlier I went to some other college but my sister insisted that I should go to this college and so I did. Admission procedure was a bit long but the staff and seniors were very supportive and friendly.

Academics and Faculty

4

The college has really good teaching staff. Teachers are very supportive and strict at the same time which is very good. The teaching style is very interesting. Each class is of 1 hour. Overall it is very nice.

Fees and Scholarships

5

Sri Venkateshwara college is affiliated with the Delhi University. And this college gets most of its fund from south Indian temples which they get as donations. So the fees it very pocket-friendly. For BCom(p) the fees are INR 10000 per year.

Clubs and Associations

4

The college has societies for nearly all kinds of stuff like there is western dance society, Indian dance society, dramatics society, music society, yoga society and so on. Every year an annual fest is arranged for 3 days. Celebrity stars are invited. The college witnesses a whole different vibe.
