Sim City's Review on SS Memorial College, Ranchi

As I was under GENERAL category, so no such stipend or scholarships, as its affiliated to Ranchi university you can further prepare to get admission on other colleges in post graduation after this, no campus placements yet in here.

There is a nice number PGs and hostel rooms near to the college, no canteen in college yet. Classroom and labs are good to get yourself involved in academic activities. The library is also very good and included numerous number of books you want to issue and there is Jio hotspot inside the campus

Eligibility criteria were INTERMEDIATE (+2) with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics and there wasn't any entrance exam for this college at that time, I got a direct admission based on 50% cutoff on the above-mentioned subjects.

On the basis of daily routine, you can expect regular classes including lectures and assignments, teaching quality is good, my overall experience was ok.

At our time, there was no semester introduced so Course fees in our time were about INR 2500 per year, scholarships available for reserved categories like OBC and ST/SC.

There is some students club which welcomes students to get involved in college activities and maintain a fair level of activities in the campus. Many cultural and sports events take place in the campus on regular intervals based on festivals. Overall the college life is average in here and its a very good alternative for people looking to get graduated plus part-time jobs along with.
