College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Hostel - 1 boys hostel in the campus with fees of around 5000 per year PG's - Very well maintained separate PG for both boys and girls are available very close to the campus. PG cost would be approximately 5000 per month inclusive of 3-time meals and WiFi connection.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Eligibility criteria for BA - Pass in PUC or 12th in exams with an aggregate of over 60% in any combination Entrance test - Not applicable for BA except for Journalism course

Academics and Faculty

Class timings - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Exams - 2 exams in a semester. One being in half of the semester, the marks of which gets added to the semester examinations Assignments- Every subject has 2 compulsory assignments to be submitted in a semester. The final year students will compulsorily have to do a term paper on any topics desired by them. Quality of teaching - Excellent faculty and very friendly student-teacher relationships can be made.

Student societies - many student association groups are there in college for a student to be active even in extracurricular activities Fest - intracollege and inter-college fests are organized in the college for the students to showcase their hidden talents. Life in college - Life in college is very smooth and friendly.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for BA in IES was that a student should clear his/her PUC examinations or 12th standard examinations or any other equivalent examinations. There is no entrance examination as such but the students are selected based on their 12th grades and also through various quotas such as category quotas, sports quota and NCC quota or any other such equivalent quotas listed under the selection criteria by the college.
