You start treating patients from your 3rd year itself but this is a part of your academics and you are not paid for it. After the final year that is the 4th year, you begin your internship.
There are two hostel one for boys and the others for girls. The fee may vary. I am not sure about it however it is around INR 4k/p.a. There are PGs available but they are more costly. Classroom and library are air-conditioned labs are well furnished with proper ventilation and space.
In NEET 50% is the qualifying criteria however since GDC&h is one of the reputed institutes its cutoff is also very high. In 2017 the last admission for the open category was around 3000 rank (open).
8 hours of college including lectures + practicals Teaching is done via PowerPoint presentation. The overall experience is amazing as it is a government college there are a lot of patients and with that, you get a good exposure to various kind of disease and that helps you to learn better
The course fee for 2017-2018 was INR 63400 per annum. This was inclusive of tuition fee + extra activities. EBC scholarships is offered to people whose income is below 6 lakhs per annum.
There is Rotaract club Harmony is the biggest fest which includes all social-cultural sports events and Ganpati Utsav is also one of the biggest fests. Nearly all the festivals are celebrated by the students' Friendly environment.
