Placements and Internships
During the internship, we are given a stipend of Rs.5000 in UG. Whereas PG salary varies from INR 35-37K.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available. Its fees vary for single or double occupancy. Mess food is average and fees are included in the hostel fees. Quality of classrooms labs and library is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
NEET UG and PG exams need to be passed to get admission. The second method is management seats. I took admission by qualifying the exam. It is a 5.5 years course.
Academics and Faculty
Daily classes are from morning 9 am to 5 pm. The quality of education is good as well as the method of teaching.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee for MBBS is around INR 4 lakh per annum at Index Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. There aren't any scholarships available. One can always take the personal loan for fee payment.
Clubs and Associations
Sports and cultural fest called stimulus is held every year in college. The college life can be great at index.
