Placements and Internships

1.5

Internships aren't provided from college. I've done two internships in marketing. Placements in College are improving, average salary package is around INR 3.5lakh per annum. Companies like IBM, Infosys, zestech, and some startup companies recruit students.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

The infrastructure is beautiful with the lush green environment. Classrooms, labs and the campus is always clean and is well equipped. Food in College isn't that great. And I wouldn't suggest anyone have a meal as it isn't tidy. But there are three bakeries for snacks which are good and the lifesaver. Hostel for first-year students is available in the campus for boys. And outside campus girls hostel is available which is safe and beautiful.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

To join engineering in any stream, students can apply through CET, ComedK as well as management seat(Direct admission). I got admitted to information Science and Engineering through CET. The typical cut-off for Information Science and Engineering in CET is from 60k to 1lakh.

Academics and Faculty

2.5

College timings are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday's are holidays. As the college comes under Vishweshwaraya Technological University, exams are conducted in the month of June-July and December-Jan respectively. Every semester, from 5th semester Mini project on one laboratory subject, is carried out and 8th-semester main project has to be carried out. Quality and method of teaching are average. Overall experience in college isn't that great.

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

Course fee per year is INR 55000/- + College fee(INR 20000). Scholarships are available for supernumerary quota, SC, AND ST, and scholarships on successful passing of first-year subjects for students who are of OBC category can apply for scholarship where they will pay around INR 20k every year for academics. Loans are preferred by many middle and low-class family as INR 75k per year for CET students and INR 1.5lakh for management quota students is the good number. All nationalized banks loan can be availed.

Clubs and Associations

2

Every department holds two to three different clubs which includes filmography, cultural, game development, eco-science, team building, architecture and many more. Yearly a fest named Tarang is carried out which includes sports, cultural and other activities with amazing prizes and intercollegiate fest blaze is also carried out.
