Placements and Internships
The college has a very narrow window of opportunities for internships and other beneficiary work as they prioritize attendance and don't encourage on being an intern. The alumni network is biased to their caste side.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The campus is old and the classes are old too. Labs are just okay where you can manage but leaving that the college is very old.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Get a good rank in KCET or COMEDK UGET. They have a reservation for Raju caste people who run the management of the college. I took COMEDK You're ranking in CET should be around 10000 to 15000 And the same holds good for COMEDK also.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine is very stressful and is tiring because classes are from morning 9:00 am to evening 4:20 pm. Quality and method of teaching are bad very few teachers who can explain the topics in detail. Overall experience is pretty bad because of the patriarchy towards their caste people and quality of teachers.
Fees and Scholarships
Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is having a fee structure of INR 1 lakh 25 thousand. Since I got through COMEDK that's my fee and I don't think it's worth paying that much for this college.
Clubs and Associations
Life in college is good if you don't mess with Raju caste people. Ragging still there and is over the line.
